Since 2010, the Mulvane Art Museum has acquired approximately 250 works of art in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, glass, printmaking, and ceramics. The works range from a 17th century etched self-portrait by Rembrandt Van Rijn to folk art by Ann Carter to paintings by Topekan Barbara Waterman-Peters and everything in between. The exhibition will display works by Mountain Plains artists as well as works by artists from much farther afield.
